Welcome to Catalyst!

Catalyst is a horde raiding guild on the Hyjal server. We are, in large part, transfers from Anvilmar & Madoran that have merged into a successful progression guild on our new server. We believe that raiding can only be fun when everyone gives 100%, both in preparation and execution. All current Wrath of the Lich King raiding content has been cleared and we are getting ready for the new Ulduar raids.

ToGC:25 Northrend Beasts - road kill

In only our 2nd night into ToGC:25 attempts, we some ugly beasts got caught in our headlights and ended up on the side of the road...bloated, stinking, etc, etc, etc...

Once we figured out running in front of the worms sprays was a bad strategy and that the pretty red color Icehowl turns after a crash is NOT a good thing...it was quite simple really.

OK, a little slow in posting, sorry....and yes the screen shot is /fail (we were too excited)

On Friday, a week after a disheartening 49 attempt ToGC:10 run, we did it!

Things looked bleak at the start. Aven couldn't make it and Brandy was MIA (coffee must've ran out). We pulled in Ryo, Gweynn found the Light and went Holy, and Chubs figured out how to pick up an add (for the most part).

The result, only 5 dead when Anub died, and Byle no longer feels guilty for doin it with FA

ToC10:H Anub 1 Shot - Squished him good

After 3 weeks of farming, Anub is dead. With 1 shots on Beasts, Jar, and Champions, we were riding on high hopes since we've 1 shot the Twins each of the past 2 weeks.

This week however, we spent 17 attempts on the Twins...don't ask...we don't know either.

Finally we faced Anub...and ONE SHOT THAT UGLY BUG!
